I listened to this as I walked today, and I wept…. for your dad who I did not know until later in life, for the grandmother who was lost, for the relationships which might have been, for our nation, our state, our city, our churches, family members who are seemingly unconcerned about eternity, for the friends who have terminal illnesses, but most of all for the pain I have wittingly or unwittingly caused others and my Lord. As I have grieved, I have also experienced gratitude that there is a remedy–the death and resurrection of Christ. May I remember, not only in this lenton season, but always the price paid for my salvation. Thanks for such a poinant reminder.
